God must have used many ways to help me and save my marriage,..but I clearly remember three of them. Today I'll share one. My wife and our three kids had gone shags to greet our parents. That night, as would happen usually when alone, ( I would watch movies almost overnight). I started watching..Then I would view some porn, then masturbation. But this night I sensed a great burden..I sensed a great need to pray to be set free. I had fought this habit for long ( even as a sing ... le man), I had grown weary and almost given up. I didn't have the strength to fight any more. I opened the book of psalms and read some praises to God..( can't remember the exact psalm). A great war was raging in me. I distanced myself from the porn and trusted the Lord to help me sleep..And break the habit of masturbation. That night went to sleep...The two habits didn't find their place in me. It felt like something died in me! My entire body felt a burning sensation ,,intense torment and suffering ,but by the grace of God..I persevered. The next day, I walked in the victory. Christ was so real in me..I had broken free. By the time my wife and children came, they found a new creation..I was able to focus on my wife and family.
